The PUDDLE JUMPER is one of our all time best selling and most loved models. Popular around the world. It was one of the original, modern “groveler" specific shapes, that caught fire around the world. It flys around and moves on top of flat water, with ease...Thus the name, PUDDLE JUMPER.

It's significant width, low rocker, forward outline, with wide nose and tail, make paddling, catching waves and skating along on small waves a breeze. Fast and drivey, with plenty of lift, the magic comes from the hyper-curved rail line rocker, which runs parallel to the stringer, near the nose, then exaggerates into a deep single concave, that swoops back down to a significant vee, under the rear foot. This high arcing rail line, with double concave vee in the tail, creates a lively ride and turns the relatively flat board into a turning machine, especially once put on rail.

There's enough curve in the accelerating rail rocker, to loosen up and transform The Original Puddle Jumper, from a typical flat little plank into a mini-performance machine, allowing turns in 1’-2’ waves that you wouldn't believe you could do. This little board proved itself again and again, in smaller waves, with surfers of multiple skill sets, from entry level to Pro, all around the world. Its absolutely amazing in wave pools, as well, btw. We had not adjusted the design in years, simply re-sizing for custom orders, as retailers slowly stopped stocking them, in lieu of newer models. With the constant updating and releasing of new models and designs (many of them derivatives of "The Original” PUDDLE JUMPER) it somehow got lost in the mix…

LightSpeed II is the evolution of our original LightSpeed tech — same foundation, new materials, for ultra-light and ultra-fast performance. We’ve replaced all carbon components with a custom-engineered combination of high tensile S-Glass and Innegra composite, delivering a dampened flex pattern, with a smoother ride, with less chatter, without sacrificing strength or durability. The “Exoskeleton” centerline strips are now built with S-Glass, infused with Innegra, offering a more forgiving flex than carbon, with superior dampening. The Web Fused Carbon tail patches have also been upgraded to Web Fused Innegra™, resulting in a white, light, lively, responsive board with forgiving flex and a smoother feel underfoot — all without sacrificing the signature speed and pop that made LightSpeed famous.
